SAD NEWS FROM W.A.

Sadly we have lost another young retriever. Early this week the 6 year old Golden Retriever, TJ, (Mhadaidh TJ's Quickstep), died after a surgical procedure at the Vets. Gary and Maria Papamarkos are devastated at the loss of their adored boy. All of us in retrieving in W.A. will miss seeing TJ compete and send condolences to Gary and Maria and children.

Also, sadly I must report that another of our dogs is ill. This time Tom Morris's black Labrador, Danny, (Cinderset The Navigator) has been diagnosed with cancer in the leg, and has only a short time to live. Danny and Tom achieved their R.T. Champion title early last year, and came second in the W.A. State Championships in September. Again, Danny is a young dog, right in the prime of his retrieving career.
All W.A. trialers thoughts are with Tom and Marj and Danny at this devastating time.

That is really sad - there always seems to be something that goes wrong with our dogs before their time should be up.
