Thanks Teresa and all,

I thought it was about time I posted again. Some already are aware-my oncologist suggested I reward myself after chemotherapy. He suggested a villa in Tuscany.

I decided a trip to the US would be worthwhile, taking in the Open national retriever championship.

Andrew and I arrived 5 days ago, spent two nights in New Orleans. Arrived two nights ago in Vicksburg Mississippi, where the trial itself begins in two days time. (lots of twos eh??) Anyway, observing prenational training currently which is wonderful. Having a great time eating and (finally) drinking alcohol again.

Feeling really well, and no futher specialists appts or/and treatment planned until January 2011.

Life is REAL GOOD. Gareth and Sioban can I take this opportunity to once again thank you for the wonderful care, training and trialling of Yank since prior to my surgery. xxx. Thanks also to all, for their kind wishes, care, and phone calls.

Any questions please feel free to PM.

Hey Julie, does it look as funny to you to see American gunners out in the field with over and unders, as it does for me to see Aussie dog handlers on the line (OK pegs) with a side by side?

What about our Yank style of delivery? Do you think to yourself, "The dog did pretty good, to bad he can't deliver properly?"

You and Andrew have yourselves a wonderful trip.

Keep on kicking.

Hi Julie, great to hear you arrived safely and are having such a good time.

Enjoy every moment, drink yourself under the table if you feel so inclined  and we will have to catch up for another lunch some time soon. Maybe this time you'll be able to drink a toast with us. That would be super! :P

With news like that Julie, I'm surprised you are sober enough to type on the internet coherently.

Yesterdays CT scan of chest and abdomen show no cancer recurrence, or new lesions/tumors etc.

I will definitely be back trialling.

Unbelievable!!!
