As you may be aware Jack Montasell has had a melonama removed from near his left ear, subsequently he was admitted to the Peter McCullum Cancer Hospital for further treatment.
We visited Jack in hospital on Monday morning.
He was sitting up reading the paper when we arrived and he was pleased to see us. Jack looked normal except with a large bandage covering his head and left ear area. The surgeon said the operation was successfull.
Jack will be in the hospital for a few more days, loving the food and the service, "beats a jam sandwich says he"
He did ask me to pass on his thanks to all the triallers who wish him well.
A little trivia - Above the bed head is the doctors name who is looking after him, then just below that is the name "John Montasell". Vicky queried this and Jack says that it is his actual name - John not Jack Montasell. Jack also says the Victorian Championship held this last weekend is the first he has not attended since JC was a pup. Little things like this come to light eventually.
We will keep the triallers informed with respect to his health.
Regards
John
We wish you well Jack.
