New to Retrieving- Advice Please

Hi all,

I have an 11month old Brittany and would like to get him into retrieving. I have been reading with interest many of your posts on this site. Would like some advice about how to get started into retrieving.
It would see that most of the clubs are situated in Vic or WA. I am situated in Sydney. Is there anyone in or around Sydney that does retrieval training. Would be prepared to travel if required.
I am about to get my hands on a 'Dokken dead fowl trainer'. Will trial the Brittany at the local park and see how he goes.

Hi Bill,

Welcome to the fraternity. I am from Melbourne but there certainly are triallers in the Sydney area so I am sure that someone will post to give you some help in that area. 11 months is certainly not too young, 8 weeks is when the training starts! Good luck.

Always good to hear someone else is getting their Britt into retrieving.
I've had Britts for about 25+ years now & been trialing em on & off for about the past 15 years now.
