uploading photos

Hi, can any of you clever people tell me the method that you use for uploading photos to this site? The only way that I have instructions for involves using a photo storage web site but I am sure that there must be a way to load them directly from my computer. Thanks in anticipation.

Dianne, I just tested the attachemt option which allows images to be loaded straight from your computer. Below the box where you type your post there is a tab that says "Upload attachment". Click on that, then click the browse button next to filename, find the .jpg picture and hit add file. You can then select 'Place inline' which will insert the picture inline. If you don't select this the image is just attached to the post at the end.

This one I selected 'Place inline'

There should be another pic appear below which I didn't select 'Place inline'

I hope that helps!?

Diane, depending on how big the picture is you may have to reduce it in size first. I use a program called PIXresizer which can be downloaded free and I then place the downsized pictures in a separet file that I call "resized " and pock them up from there to post.
Your original picture remains unaltered. Hope it helps.
