2011 Canadian National Amateur Retrieving Trial

Postby Robert Tawton » Mon 22 Aug 2011 12:54 pm

Hi All,

The 2011 Canadian National Amateur Retrieving Trial was conducted Monday 18 July through Sunday 23 July with vetting on Sunday 17 July and an Opening Banquet held Saturday 16 July.
The event attracted 62 entries from a field of over 200 qualified contestants and there were 12 finishers. Perhaps the entry fee of $250.00 coupled with the current financial turmoil in North America had an adverse impact on numbers?
Test 1 was a Land Triple Mark
Test 2 was a Land Blind run in conjunction with Test 1.
Test 3 was a Water Triple Mark with Honour.
Test 4 was a Land Blind with Poison Bird.
Test 5 was a Water Blind
Test 6 was a Land Quadruple Mark
Test 7 was a Triple Water Mark
Test 8 was a Water Blind with a Dry Shot
Test 9 was a Land Quadruple Mark
Test 10 was a Water Quadruple Mark
See http://www.nrcc-canada.com/natl-am/2011 ... sults.html was a very detailed description of the Tests complete with excellent photographs.

Kind regards, Robert T
