RIP Peter Kennon

Postby Michelle Kennon » Sat 12 Nov 2011 8:08 pm

It is with great sadness that I tell you all that Peter Kennon passed away last night.

He was absolutely passionate about his dogs, and was dedicated to the dog world for most of his life, from showing, to obedience, retrieving and breeding.

In addition he was a wonderful person who was a true inspiration and hero to his family.

He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered...

RIP Pete

Our deepest sympathy Russell & Michelle, we were only talking about Peter
at the trial last week-end, so he was very much in our thoughts.

What sad news. Peter was an absolute gentleman and I cannot recall him ever saying a bad word about anyone at retrieving trials. Trials haven't been the same without him over the past year or so and he is already missed. Sincere condolences to Coral, Russell, Judy, Michelle and the rest of the family, thinking of you.

So sad to hear your news Michelle. Deepest sympathy to you and Russell.
Peter was a gentle man who had an abiding love of his dogs. Someone you feel proud to say you have known.
He never a bad word to say about anyone and was always ready to jump in and help.

It was with much sadness that the committee and members of the Flatcoated Retriever Association learnt of the passing of Peter Kennon.

Peter was a past President of the Association and an active member of the club at all of its activities. We never had to ask Peter for help, prior to events he would just ring and say "I'll be there".
He loved his dogs and thoroughly enjoyed watching dogs work whether it be in retrieving, field or in the show ring.

A gentleman who will be greatly missed by many.

Our condolences to Coral and all of the Kennon family.
