It is with sadness that I pass on the news that Irene Hook passed away after a long illness on April 11th 2012 in Bundaberg. A funeral service will be held on Thursday 19th at 10am.
Irene is survived by her husband Jim Hook , Always strong supporter of our sport, in early years Jim & Irene helped to establish Retrieving in Northern Qld & in past years enjoyed coming out to our training Sundays & trials to watch the dogs work.
Our condolences go to Jim & family at this sad time.

Wendy, please pass on our condolences to Jim. Jim is a true gentleman and it is hard to think of Bundaberg and gundogs in Wide Bay without thinking of Jim. Our kindest thoughts are with him at this time. Joe & Mary Law

Wendy,
Please pass on our condolences to Jim. The Tawton family's association with Jim and Irene dates back to the late 80's when they purchased a GSP male from us (by Nat RT Ch FT Ch Ruvalan Homah out of Gareth's bitch, Ruvalan Gemmali). We will always have fond memories of Irene and certainly enjoyed catching up each time we visit Bundaberg. Robert, Pam Tawton.
