Italian Spinone

Postby val mclennan » Mon 18 Jun 2012 5:25 pm

Hi all , have'nt be on this site for few years now, I tried my luck with two show Cockers in field trials worked hard at getting them to trial standard (with lots of help from Steve Austin) , then we moved to Italy so no more training . My main question is , would I be able to trial with an Italian Spinone ? I have been watching them working here wonderful we will be returning to Victoria in the next few years just want to make sure the IS would be accepted are there others competing?
Many thanks

Hi Val, yes an Italian Spinone is a recognised gundog here and you would certainly be able to compete with one

Hi Val
We don't have any competing in Victoria, or Australia as far as I know, but they are recognized Gundog Breed so can compete in the retrieving trials etc.

It would be interesting to see one in action, good luck and hopefully we may see on in the future in competition.
