Thanks and goodbye (for now)

Postby Sue Batchelor » Mon 09 Jul 2012 2:26 pm

The time has come to retire Molly from trialling and sadly I don't have another dog ready.
I would like to thank everyone for their help and friendship.
Thanks to Wayne for his ongoing work in getting newbies into the sport, Mary and Joe for being the generous souls that we all love and of course all the other helpers like Flo and Sandra. I'll miss you all, especially my Restricted friends. We have had so much fun this year - even the judges have commented on it.
I wish you all luck in getting those elusive first places.
I also have to say good luck to Ray and Cody. They now become the only Golden team competing in NSW so they have to do well! Go the Goldens!!

My challenge now is to try to tame the wild beast that is Layla! Failing this I may have to turn to "the dark side".

Please keep me on your email lists, etc for training days.
Also you are welcome to contact me if you an extra helper/steward.

Thanks again and hope to see you all soon.

Sue,

Of course, by "dark side" you mean Flat Coated Retriever! Fiiiinally, you've seen the "light"! ;-)

Is that a wee small voice I hear from over the ditch? Tell us when you are coming home!

Hi Sue
I am glad that you have seen the light- I hope my Gus has given you some inspiration....however I must say there are some nice sounding working goldens in the for sale at the moment! Anyway, I give you the best of luck in training up your lovely puppy - hopefully she'll get you back in the swing of things soon and we'll all be back in Novice together next year. Have had some great times there and I am really looking forward to 2013 with our puppies.
