Bella as we all affectionately new her finally is at rest today
She was owned and greatly loved by my great friend and long time training partner helena Cornelius
she was bred by maureen cooper and was by Helena's wonderful dog bambillay rivers leigh or Sar as we all new him Bella was not as athletic as her father but she was a trial dog par excellence and inherited her father gift for marking. She gave helena all she had and was alot more biddable than most all age dogs We spend many happy hours out training together over the last 13 years and old bella was always a pleasure to be around
bella was also an all age winner in an era that boasted blackie ,king ,major , jill and a host of great all age dogs so she could mix it with the best of them
bella has been arthritic and in pain for a while now Due to helena's skilful drug management Bella has been able to enjoy the last few years of her life
rest in peace bella your life was a long and happy one

Although I knew you briefly, you always greeted me like long lost friend and left me with a smile. Be free Bella.

The loss is never easy, even when you know it is coming. Remember the good times and the joy you had together.

Dear Helena
So sorry to hear of your sad loss. How well I remember that day at Braidwood when you and Bella did each other proud by winning the all age stake of which I was the judge.Good dogs and handlers were left floundering in your wake.Just one of the happy memories for you to rememer her by now that she has gone to the happy hunting grounds in the sky
Jack .and Christine.

Huge thanks to all of you! Your kind words are much appreciated.
Bella was a total honey! It was certainly hard to decide that the last good day has come and gone. Bella gave life her all, and never complained about the pain she was in.
Lexie and I are adjusting to being without her and it's not so easy, but each day is a little better than the one before. Lexie is getting fat on double the quantity of leftovers, which means a lot to a Labrador!
