Change in the management of this site

Postby Jason Ferris » Tue 22 Oct 2013 9:15 pm

I would like to welcome Peter Butterfield who has agreed to take on administration of this website and forum.

After 10 years in the role, I am moving on to pursue other interests. I will remain a member on the site, but won't be doing admin, moderation or tech support from now on. Please contact Peter or Lara for queries relating to the site. I am sure Peter will be along soon to provide contact details, but private messages will do for a start.

All the best for the future of retrieving.

Regards, Jason.

Jason,
Our personal thanks for all your efforts and enormous help over the years, especially in transfering National information from the backwaters of WA to folk in "the big smoke" and Victoria. You have done a marvellous job, Peter has some big shoes to fill !
Heres to success in your other endeavours.
Hope to catch up again with you soon.

Best regards
Allan and Catherine

thank you Jason for bringing the Australian Retrieving trial fraternity together on this site. It's been great to be able to share our results and to see everyone else's results. It's also been great to 'discuss' controversial topics. WELL DONE

Hi Jason

We have just returned from holidays and checked what has been posted on the Retriever Central site.

Georgina and I have very much admired and valued your input into our wonderful sport of Gun Dogs. Always with great deplume and integrity. You will be sadly missed by very many throughout the Country, and we wish you and your family the best of luck in the future.

Our sport is going through what is referred to as "changing of the guard", in observation in most States, hopefully for the betterment of our sport.

Cheers,
Amand and Georgina
