IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THIS WEBSITE

Two significant changes to this website are in process that you need to be aware of:
1. Name Change
The name of this site is progressively changing over from Australian Working Retriever Central to Retrieving Australia. The new name, we believe, better reflects the main content of this site and should be easier to recall and refer to.
The web address has also changed to a more simple retrieving.org.au (retrieving.com.au also connects to this site). The original australianworkingretrievercentral.org.au address has now been retired and no longer connects to this site. You should change any links in your Favourites and elsewhere over to the new address.
2. New Content
You may also notice that the homepage http://retrieving.org.au/ and other non-forum pages have been replaced. New About Retrieving pages are aimed at promoting our sport and educating newcomers on the fundamentals needed to join in and compete in Retrieving.
Part of this initiative aims to channel any newly interested parties towards local clubs that support Retrieving activities. If you run a club that hosts Retrieving events, please check that your club’s details are properly listed here http://retrieving.org.au/ra/about/clubs.html.
Generously contributed Articles on Retrieving fundamentals have also been added to the site. If you have an original paper on Retrieving that you would like to share, now or in future, please feel free to submit it to Admin.
Finally, an Archives page retains historical material from this site that is still considered important for posterity. All documents that have previously appeared on this site still exist and are being reviewed for reposting.
Importantly, there are no changes to the Forum pages planned.
Don’t panic! All these changes will almost certainly break some links within the site. These will be restored as quickly as possible but may be dependent on the number of rainy Sundays ahead. If something doesn’t function that you have urgent need of, then please contact admin.
