I got a lovely wood duck off my pond in the evening of opening day. Charlie, my golden, flushed the flock up toller style and retrieved the target to the bank. This was Charlie's first time with warm game so I'm well pleased. (Originally posted on Field & Game Facebook page).

Now Autumn has come at last will the ducks come back?
