Bumper Boy Bumpers

Postby Diane McCann » Thu 29 Jan 2015 7:36 pm

Back to my favourite topic, keeping my bumper boys functioning!

I purchased 8 bumpers when I bought my 2 x 2 shots and 4 of them have gone to God (split in 2) and one is well on its way, leaving me with a bit of a shortage. I have done some online searches and can find dummies designed to be used with launchers, but not specifically BB's. Does anyone have any knowledge as to whether or not any dummy designed for a launcher would be suitable?

Also as many sites do not ship to Australia, and as they are heavy and postage is expensive from OS if anyone knows of local supply that would be great. :)

Hi Di,

Try gundogs online website. They still sell bumper boys and spare bumpers not sure if they ship overseas but worth a try.

Di, I have also got some small ducks that were originally from launchers. They fit on the BB but they do "fly" a long way because they are smaller and lighter. They were from the US also.

Di, SDA has canvas dummies that fit the bumperboy. I use them myself.

My Bumper Boy won't charge up - I'm guessing it needs a new battery(again) as, if I plug it in to power, the red lights light up.
Does anyone know someone reliable and honest who can replace the batteries in these?

Hi paula, I purchased one of these 6 volt batteries a couple of weeks ago but you will have to cut the wires and join them as the connector is not the same.

I'm a bit of a technophobe, I'm afraid Carlo.
I hope you are going at Easter so I can pick your brains on this.
