RETRIEVING AUSTRALIA FORUM

Many trialler's from NSW and Tasmania would remember Bruce and Wendy Andrew who supported trialling in both states.
Unfortunately Bruce passed away on Saturday the 28/2/2015 at Hobart in Tasmania a memorial service will be held in Hobart on Friday the 6th of March 2015 at 2pm, details are listed in the Hobart Mercury.

Sad news indeed. I have fond memories of Bruce & Wendy and Briedene Labradors literally as far back as I can remember. They inspired me to take up retrieving in the first place and even gave me a dog once. I remember Bruce as man of very few words but in constant motion. He must have been about 81 by now. Their contributions to the sport in NSW, particularly through the NSW Labrador Club (of which they are life members) was enormous and they helped countless numbers of young handlers many of whom carry on their efforts today. My condolences to Wendy, Nick and Lisa.
