Leroy was put to sleep on New years eve after suffering three seizures in the morning and one in the afternoon. Our vets diagnosis was that it was a brain tumour that had been manifesting itself for sometime.
Leroy had accumulated enough points to gain his Grand retreiving title but due to local politics five of his wins in 2010 were taken from him.
IN 2012 Leroy won the tassie state title becoming only the second Tasmanian dog to do so since 1995. Leroy was very workman like and a solid dog that could be relied upon to get your birds back no matter how hard the going became both in trialling and in the field.
Leroy was Tasmanian ALL-AGE dog of the year on numerous occassions. He retired from trialling at the 2013 national where an ongoing shoulder injury proved to much for him.

He has gIven Andrea and i so many great memories and he will be dearly missed for some time to come.
