Bill Eckert is running 6 dogs to my knowledge and he still has 3 left in after 3 runs.We will watch his progress with interest.Incidently Geoff Cole is over watching the US national at present. I am monitoring the results for FC Fargo owned and run by the Patopea's. We may see some Fargo progeny in Australia shortly

2004 US National Field Trial

Postby Robert Tawton » Sun 14 Nov 2004 10:18 am

Hi All,

The winner of the 2004 US National Field Trial (Retrieving Trial in our terms) was Bill Eckett handling FC AFC Dewey's Drake of Moon River, a yellow male Labrador.

WELL DONE BILL and BECKY!!!!!

The event attracted a field of 80 dogs of which 12 completed the course of 10 Runs. For details, pictures and a description of the tests see http://www.working-retriever.com

Many thanks also to Andrew and Julie Cramond for arranging Bill and Beck's two visits "Down Under" and for the valuable information that they so freely shared with us.

Regards, RWT

It is wonderful news, for sure. Thanks Rob.

I was speaking to Bill this morning. As you can imagine he is feeling very happy. Becky could also get away from home to attend this national.

They both greatly appreciated the Emails from Australia. Keep them up.

Bill mentioned speaking to Geoff Cole. Apparently there were a few nationalities beside our Australian, a group from the Netherlands and another from Mexico.
