User Names

Hi all

It seems our quiet corner of the internet has been discovered by some of the more unsavoury elements of the world wide web. Lately we have been getting a number of registrations using bizarre names and including dodgy websites (including porn sites) in their registration. I have been deleting these 'people' as soon as I see them, and have changed the settings on the board to reduce as much as possible the opportunity for bogus registrations.

One of the ways that I differentiate genuine registrations from the dubious ones is by the names and locations people have used to register, so can I please ask people joining the board to use their full name and fill in the location field when registering.

I have changed the settings on the board so existing users can modify their user name in their profile. If you used a pseudonym or just your first name when registering, I would greatly appreciate if you could log in, click on the Profile link at the top of the screen, change your user name to your real name and add a location.
