Very nice forum here. Thanks for allowing me to join. My callname, Alamosa, is the Spanish word for cottonwood tree.

I've got a Limited Priviledge (non-retriever breed) dog that is trying to earn her Started title in the Hunting Retriever Club (HRC) and North American Hunting Retriever Association (NAHRA). I actually purchased her as a pet but she accompanies me everywhere and I hunt quite a bit and she began to catch on to retrieving and show some talent for it. I'll be taking her goose hunting in Canada in October.

Most people in this part of the country dream of visiting Australia. I know I do.

This is my 5 year old named Heidi.

Hi Alamosa and welcome to the forum. Can I ask, what breed is Heidi? From the photo, you'd swear she has some Australian Cattle Dog in her? The markings, head and ears all like very similar. Great photo btw!

Cheers
Joanne
