RETRIEVING AUSTRALIA FORUM

The National RAFT Committee has taken the decision not to cancel the National Retrieving Trial Championship this year. This follows canvassing of opinions of State RAFT Committees and triallers generally. Provided that Dogs Queensland allows the event to go ahead (ie no COVID lockdown in Queensland) and there are sufficient numbers of dogs and competitors as per the rules, then it will proceed as a “National” event regardless of how many competitors from other states may not be able to attend.
Competitors will need to make their own assessments of risk of potential losses of deposits etc, quarantine requirements etc.
