Novice Stakes - The New Rules

Postby Alan Donovan » Tue 04 Oct 2005 2:58 pm

For those of us just coming to terms with the "new" rules:

The previous version of the rules (Rule 35) advised that Novice Stakes were to be single-marked retrieves. Could not find it in the current rules.

While Walk-ups are not permitted in Novice (Rule 10) - can we now expect to see triple marks, wounded game retrieves, double rises, and blinds in Novice?

I'd better get the pup out and do some 36 point wagon wheels. I don't want to rush things - he's 3 months old (photos on request).

Hi Jo

Who - me?

I just thought that with all the bush lawyers out there desperate to put in a protest about something or other.....

I'm going to judge in the traditional way - you're safe with me (but only in Novice!). Now to look at the other rules. I shoulda bina lawyer.

Cheers - Alan
