Hi All,

I was on the thrower for the subject event and can report that Leslie's springer was most impressive in terms of speed, desire, and accuracy in marking the fall of game. The manner in which this little dog covers its ground is truly poetry in motion. Once Leslie sorts out a few minor peg and delivery issues, fellow competitors will really have to watch out!

Congratulations to all who competed and to the Judge, Sue Keal, for a job well done.

From the ACT Society's point of view, interest in this style of event is growing and hopefully the October 2010 ANKC Conference will ratify the proposal for a new set of Rules to become effective 1 Jan 2011 (complete with provision for Titles at both Novice and Open level).
