Awards : Prize & sash for 1st, sash for 2nd & 3rd places. Pass Certificate to all competitors who obtain a pass with a score of at least 50% in each exercise and an overall score of not less than 75%.

Game to be used :
Trial will be conducted on dummies. Dummies shall be provided by the Handler and must be approved by the Judge prior to judging. Dummies should be made of a soft material, e.g. canvas or plastic, and be of a subdued colour. Dummy length should be in the range 25cm to 31cm in length, with a circumference of between 20cm and 27cm and a have weight of between 300gms and 450gms and must be free of all feather and fur. White dummies should be avoided wherever possible.

Note: It is requested that competitors submit their dummies at time of vetting dogs in plastic bags with the handlers name written on the dummies. Novice competitors need to supply two dummies in separate bags.

Eligibility
Main and Limited Registered Gundogs (including de-sexed registered Gundogs) and Associate Dogs of a variety accepted by a Member Body as a Gundog shall be permitted to compete.

To be eligible to compete in a Novice Retrieving Ability Test, a dog must NOT have received three passes in Novice Retrieving Ability Tests under at least two Judges or gained any of the following Titles as defined in the Rules for the Conduct of Retrieving Trials for Gundogs (effective 1 Jan 2010) – DM, CM, QND, NRD, RRD, AARD, RT CH, Nat RT CH, Grand RT CH.

The Club reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running of the trial and also the right to accept or refuse entries.

To be held under the Rules and Regulations of the Victorian Canine Association and the ANKC Rules for Retrieving Ability Test for Gundogs 2011. A copy may be inspected at the office of the Secretary of the fixture on the day of the trial or downloaded from the ANKC website

Please be courteous and give way to Endurance Test competitors riding bikes or running with their dogs when you arrive at KCC park for check in.

** Entry fees for the trial include equipment fees of $5.50 and the following VCA charges:
$1.40 – Surcharge (per entry) & $1.60 – Dog Levy (per dog) & $1.60 – Development Levy (per exhibitor)
