RETRIEVING AUSTRALIA FORUM

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in entering a RATG with my 18 month old Toller, but I've never seen the test before and don't have an opportunity to see one before this one I want to enter. Does anyone have a video of a novice RATG that I can have a look at? I've read the rules but it is always better to see it in action.

The RATG I'm interested in is the one in August at Orchard Hills, but I haven't seen the schedule for it yet. There's supposed to be a conformation show on too... does anyone know if I'm able to enter both the show and the RATG, or are they held in different areas?

If you referring to the Gundog Society Show and RATG in August you can enter both. They are held on the same ground at Dogs NSW although there will be a little bit of distance between the RATG and the show.

I would be interested in entering the August RATG trial & show too. But I would love to see a video of what to do also has is there maybe one on UTube people can recommend?

There are RATG this sunday 22.06 at blacktown & saturday 28.06 at macarthur if you can get there.

Is there usually water retrieves in the novice RATGs at Orchard Hills? My boy doesn't swim yet

Still debating whether we will enter, I have no idea how close or how far off a pass we'd be!
