Retrieving Ability Test for Gundogs Trial

Novice: Penny Angel

Novice Stake:
• Official entries (as per Rule 2.3) to be eligible to compete in a Novice Retrieving Ability Test, a dog must not have received three passes in Novice Retrieving Ability Tests under at least two judges or gained any of the following Titles as defined in the Rules for Conduct of Retrieving Trials for Gundogs (effective 1 Jan 2010) - DM, CM, QND, NRD, RRD, AARD, RT CH, Nat RT CH, Grand RT CH.
Open Stake:
• Official entries (as per Rule 2.4) to be eligible to compete in an Open Retrieving Ability Test, a dog must have received three passes in Novice Retrieving Ability Tests or have gained any of the following Titles as defined in the Rules for the Conduct of Retrieving Trials for Gundogs (effective 1 Jan 2010) - DM, CM, QND, NRD, RRD, AARD, RT CH, Nat RT CH, Grand RT CH.

Awards: All Stakes – Trophy & Sash 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place.

Special prize donated by Lynne Elliott for the highest scoring non competing retrieving dog. The prize is free entry into a Novice Retrieving Trial stake of your choice in 2015. (Non competing retrieving dog is one that has never competed at a Non-Slip Retrieving Trial)

Entry Fees:
$12.00 Novice
$15.00 Open

Note that GAME will be used.

Please be advised that we will be offering the following refreshments at the this trial:

In the morning - Coffee/Tea and a muffin $2
At the end of the trial - Roast beef and gravy roll with a can of drink $5

RESULTS WGC RATG Trial 8 March 2015 - Cooranbong

Results from this trial are as follows:

Novice - 7 entered. 2 finished.
1st - Wayne Outtrim with Peggi
2nd - Simon Jay with Stella

Restricted - 11 entered. 2 finished.
1st - Ray Temple with Cody
2nd - Penny Angel with Fly

This gave Penny her ORA title.

A good day was had by all. Special thanks to the WGC RATG sub committee in ensuring this trial was a success.

Congratulations Wayne and Simon Novice (first ever trial Simon well done).
Congratulations Ray and Penny Open.
Great result for 4 of the nicest people I have met. Pretty handy dog trainers as well.
