QUALIFICATIONS: A ‘NOVICE STAKE’ is a stake confined to Gundogs that have not won any stake other than two (2) Novice Stakes. (‘Beginners’ Tests excluded.)
A ‘RESTRICTED STAKE’ is a stake confined to Gundogs that have not won three (3) Restricted Stakes or an All Age Stake or been placed first or second in a Championship Stake.
An ‘ALL AGE STAKE’ is a stake confined to Gundogs that have won a Novice or have been placed first, second or third in a Restricted Stake.

TRIAL VENUES: Properties used for Trials are private properties and MUST NOT be revisited after the trial. Entry for the Trial is subject to this condition.

Hi Everyone,

The Lab club trial will be held on a new trial site at Lake Eppalock. The nearest town is Heathcote.

Travelling from Melbourne take the Northern Hwy to Heathcote. Just outside Heathcote (on the Bendigo side) veer left onto the McIvor Hwy. From this intersection it is 4km to the Derrinal - MiaMia Rd (bitumen) turn left . Follow this for 8km. You will come to a cross road and turn right into speed boat club road (gravel). Camping is a couple of hundred meters down on the left, look for a big green shed.

We are camping on Vince Bailey's property. There is NO CAMPING TILL 12pm on Friday. Please park vans along the fence line next to the road. There will be catering at this trial. A BBQ will also be available for use on saturday night.
