GSP Club of W.A. All Age 30.8.09

Postby Kerry Webster » Sun 30 Aug 2009 8:34 pm

The GSP Club held their All Age stake at the lovely site at Goomalling. This is always a double header with a Novice and Restricted stake held the day before, and people are welcome to camp onsite for the weekend.
A fine warm day greeted competitors, and so did the mosquitoes. Hundreds of them, and as big as helicopters !!! Three runs were conducted in record time due to the efforts of the Chief Steward Lee Golding and his helpers in the field, and the promptness of the competitors, and people were on their way home by mid afternoon.
Results are as follows:

Club: GSP Club of W.A.
Date: 30/8/09
Judge: Mr Richard Courtman

Dogs Entered: 15
Started: 14
Finished: 11

1st place: R.T. Ch Featherhunt Joshua (Lab.Dog) Judy Pannett 141 points

2nd place: Mhadaidh Red Hot Special RRD CDX AD JD (Gold. Dog) Jean Henderson 139 points

3rd place: R.T. Ch Ellishea Katos Czarda (Gold Bitch) Heather Ellis 138 points

4th place went to Mhadaidh Especially Hot CD RRD and Kerry Webster with 134 points.

It might be interesting to note, especially to E.S. people, that 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th place dogs were all Golden Retrievers !! I'm not biased, but, go the Goldies.
My goal in life is to become as wonderful as my dog thinks I am.

H Kerry,

Is it true that it took just one labrador to beat all those Goldens
