Prior to this trial, the Committee devoted a lot of time to training and encouraging “newbies” to our great sport and were rewarded by having 11 entries in the Beginners/Picnic Stake. They all went home happy after the great social weekend and we feel they all, probably without exception, have been bitten by the retrieving bug. Poor things!!

Congratulations Mark and Ellie, Ann and Crispin on gaining your titles, well done.

Also to everyone who organised and ran the trial you all did a fantastic job, it was a very enjoyable weekend.

I agree with Mary, all the beginners I spoke to loved it.

Steve.
