Prue,

The trial is not for a couple of weeks yet. I will have a good set of directions availble after this weekend. Anyone not camping on site should check out the gold nugget tourist park 293 midland Hwy Epsom ph 5448 4747 They have cabins and allow dogs and are about 2o minutes from the trial site.

Hi Everyone,

Here are the directions to the LRCV April Trial.

I am told the quickest way from Melbourne is to travel up the Calder Hwy and take the 2nd Kynton exit. Follow the signs to Lake Eppalock and Heathcote. At Redesdale go past the pub and turn left following the Lake Eppalock Bendigo signs. Go 3 km and turn right at the roundabout. Travel a further 18km and turn right at the Lake Eppalock Kiosk heading towards Axedale. Cross the Mcivor Hwy at Axedale and continue on the Axedale-Goornong rd for another 15 kms Turn left at the church (look for club signs). This is the Sandy Creek – Barnadown Rd also known as the Epsom – Barnadown Rd. Go 2km and take 1st left then 1.6 km and 1st left again property is 400meter on right.

If this sounds to difficult you can also go straight up the Calder to Bendigo. On the northern outskirts of Bendigo turn right into Taylor St Epsom. There is a BP servo and subway on the corner. Go to the end of Taylor St and turn right . Cross the train track and turn left. Sign will way Fosterville/Barnadown. Travel down this road for 17kms. Street signs say Epsom-Barnadown Rd but maps say Epsom-Fosterville Rd then Sandy Creek-Barnadown Rd it is all the one road. At the 17km mark is a cross road. Turn right into the Goornong-Fosterville Rd then 1.6km turn left and property is 400m on right. Look for Club signs after you cross the train track.

CATERING

Will be available for lunch only.

On Saturday night we will have a bon fire and BYO Meat BBQ. For $5 per head the club will provide soup, salad, baked potato and desert just bring your own meat and eating irons. This will be straight after presentation so those staying in town are able to join in if they would like.

See you there,

Gareth
