Conducted under the ANKC “Rules for the Conduct of Retrieving Trials for Gundogs”
and the Rules and Regulations of the VCA.

VETTING TIME: 7.00 – 7.30 am each day
STARTING TIME: 8.00 am each day
VENUE: Nursery Lane, Benalla
CATERING: A dinner will be catered for on Saturday evening. Please book and pay a deposit of $5.00 with your entry.
CAMPING: Is available on-site at a nominal cost.
STEWARDS: Competitors must be prepared to steward as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: A ‘NOVICE STAKE’ is a stake confined to Gundogs that have not won three (3) Novice Stakes or any other stake, Puppy Stake and Beginners Test excluded.
A ‘RESTRICTED STAKE’ is a stake confined to Gundogs that have not won three (3) Restricted Stakes, or an All Age Stake or been placed first or second in a Championship Stake.
An ‘ALL AGE STAKE’ is a stake confined to Gundogs that have won a Novice Stake or been placed first, second or third in a Restricted Stake.

PLEASE NOTE: At all Retrieving and Field Trials conducted in Victoria, a competitor MUST produce a current shooters licence at vetting, or they WILL NOT be permitted to compete at the trial.
TRIAL VENUES: Properties used for Trials are private properties and MUST NOT be revisited after the trial. Entry for the Trial is subject to this condition. All vehicles are to be left in the area identified for parking.
JUDGES: The CHWGC reserves the right to appoint an additional judge to assess a stake if required.

A reminder to everyone that entries close for the Easter Trial on FRIDAY MARCH 23 which is two weeks away.

With you entries please advise as to whether or not you will be attending the dinner on Saturday evening and forward a$5 deposit per person.

The Victorian Gundog Club will be catering breakfast and lunch for the duration of the trial.

Easter Catering

Hi Everyone,

The Victorian Gundog Club will again be catering at Easter.

Breakfast all 3 days: Bacon and Egg rolls, Creamy Porridge, Tea and Coffee

Lunch all 3 days. Fresh made sandwiches with salad and a choice of Ham, Chicken and Tuna.

Hot food for lunch

Fri: Vege Soup
Sat: Sausages, salad and onions
Sun: Chicken burgers.

Cold and hot drinks available as well as a range of cakes.

Please note catering will only be available at camp NOT at the runs. Breakfast will be served from 7am.

Anyone wishing to donate cakes or drinks for this club fundraiser please feel free to contact Siobhan via email gstawton@bigpond.com.au.
