THE CANINE ASSOCIATIN OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA (INC) PRESENTS THE 2007 WESTERN AUSTRALIAN STATE CHAMPIONSHIP RETRIEVING TRIAL FOR GUNDOGS.

At Rural Tennis Camp, Crossman

For acknowledgement of receipt of entry, please enclose stamped, self addressed envelope.

Vet Inspection: 7.15 to 7.45 am each day. ALL dogs on trial site must not be removed from vehicle until called for veterinary inspection.

Bitches in Oestrum shall not be permitted to compete but may be on the property but not in the vicinity of the trial site or the are of runs.

Except when competing or in the designated area for airing, dogs must be kept on leads at all times, securely held or tethered. Note: No dogs in the gallery.

Judges: The committee reserves the right to change the judge should it become necessary.

Draw: The draw for the running order in the trial will be conducted on Wednesday 19th September at approximately 8.00 p.m. at the Woodbridge Hotel, Guildford. Come along, enjoy a meal and an informal chat with the judge, Mr. Joe Law.

Venue: The trial will be held on private property at Crossman by kind permission of the owners.

Catering: The Judge, Stewards,; Competitors and partners are invited to partake in a Saturday evening meal to be held at a venue to be advised. During the trial the usual refreshments will be available from the caravan/kitchen, courtesy of S & K Kitchens.

RULES & CONDITIONS: The trial will be conducted under the Rules for the conduct of Retrieving Trials for Gundogs as approved by the Australian National Kennel Council (effective 01.01.2005) and the Rules of the Canine Association of W.A. (Inc)

Show Regulations:
1. All dogs entered in a Sanctioned show or trial must be registered with, and owners be financial members of a State Controlling Body affiliated with the Australian National Kennel Council or the N.Z. Kennel Club. Also refer to requirements of regulstion A101. B16 and Regulation C4.

2. In order to enter for an Sanctioned show, trial or test in Western Australia, persons normally resident in Western Australia must be financial members of the Canine Association of W.A. (Inc).

3. No dog may be entered in a show unless it is registered an/or transferred to the owner before 5.00 pm on the Monday, the closing date of that particular show. It is the owners responsibility to verify that the transaction has been effected.

4. It is the owners reponsibility to see that all dogs are entered in their correct class.

5. Entries may be refused if not made out in accordance with the rules of the Canine Association of W.A.

6. The Governing Council advises action may be taken against owners contravening these regulations.

ELIGIBILITY:
The trial is confined to registered Gundogs that have been placed first in a Restricted Stake or first, second or third in an All Age Stake. Dogs which do not hold the title of Retrieving Trial Champion or Restricted Retrieving Dog must provide details of at least one qualifying placing.
