I understand a number of members of this bulletin board had a successful weekend at the GR and GSP trials in Vic. Congratualtions to all.

Anyone got the full results to share?

Cheers, Jason.

Congratulations to all the place getters. For those Lab people (nearly everyone here) Marks' Chocolate Lab is the first Chocolate (in Victoria at least) to get its title since Charlie Ball's Coco which must have been in the late 1970s or early 80s.

Congratulations to everyone on some great results, especially Mark for Swampy's RT Ch. I saw Swampy in Restricted last year and he was fantastic to watch :D .

Geez, you guys are quick.

Noel should have the full results and points up on the site in the next day or so, unfortunately work has got in the way and he's been out at meetings today :!:

Nice to see some new dogs coming along in Novice, Lisa-Marie and one of her new dogs gaining 2nd yesterday and Conrad and his weimeraner, yes weimeraner, winning the Novice and as Uncle Jack said it's been many years since he's had a wie winning Novice.

Great numbers for the weekend. Mid to high 20's in Novice both days and mid 20's in Restricted. Mid teens for All Age both days.

out of control

i fear our sport is in grave danger.now that we allow kelpies not only on our trial grounds but to title one is unforgivable.this will have to be discussed at the upcoming rule review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rick,

It is a real worry. In tassie they have field trials run on water hens next we will have retrieving trial on sheep  If they do run on sheep I know where we can get one. It cost me a heap backing it in the calcutta last year :(

Mark,

Congratulations on your RTCh with Swampy! Great work! I have yet to see him in action as I always seem to elsewhere but from all accounts, he's one hell of a retriever for a kelpie!

I can still recall when Swampy's litter first hit the ground, no-one was expecting a chocolate puppy, least of all you and Wendy! Well, it's nice to see he was well worth keeping.
