Kerry,

I am pretty sure they are the Avery brand. Check any of the US websites for measurement details but they are generally a lower neck and widest measuremnt around the chest. AS a general rule most labs seem to be around the XL mark. My monty takes an XXL. Don't be fooled by the long coat on the golden as this will pack down in a vest. Often a golden is not a big as they appear. Laraine Frawley bought an XXL for Banner and it swims on him. Personally I bought a 3mm vest as I think the 5mm is to heavy for our conditions.
If you have ever worn a wet suit yourself you will know that a couple of mm makes a huge difference.

I checked with John - the vests are made by Lucky Dog Equipment.

Unfortunately Lucky Dog don't have a website (that I could find) but I did find this picture

Thanks for the info Gareth and Jason,

I have worn a wet suit but honestly don't remember what it was like, except it was comfortable enough.

Thanks for the sizing and photo Jason.
