Thanks Iain. Have you confirmed that date with the NSW RAFT? It wasn't on the list that Flo showed me which was drawn up at the RAFT meeting. Might pay to check.

Just so that you know the date you have for your retrieving trial in October will clash with the Dogs Victoria State Championship which may make it difficult for you to secure judges for your All Age Stakes and maybe even the Restricted and Novice

Can any confirm the date of the NSW Championship? As it is not listed in the NSW trial dates.

Yep Gareth, We have applied for 11th/12th September 2010.

Ho Joe - with NSW running its Championship on 11th/12th September - that will make 4 successive weekends of Championships (following South Australia, and then the Qld State and National).

Maybe in future years it may be considered better to spread the major events out a bit in the calendar. To let the tyres of the caravans cool off between interstate journeys............

Actually, make that five weekends in a row Alan. The W.A. State Champs are on the 18/19th September.

Perhaps we should buy some sort of dog carrying jet that can fly everyone around the country for Championships - anyone with a pilot's licence and lots of money?:P !

On current form and given you are leading the 2010 dog of the year I think you should under write the whole exercise and people like me just pay a "hangers on fair". I think for Victorians it totals about 14,000km. We could get a taxi with a dog trailer for about $1 a km .(with hard negotiating and ex gst) bags the front seat!!! Oh ye, some will need to tell Siobhan she wont see me for six weeks????

just for us new to NSW trials, any chance of locations and a contact number or email to go with the trial dates? It would help our planning immensely. I realise most would know from the past where they all happen and who to speak to but we are ignorant in these matters.

Hi Rob I have looked at the dogs NSW website and they have given a location to most of the trials you can try this link (or cut and paste): http://www.dogsnsw.org.au/shows-trials and click on the PDF file. There are still 2 trials stating that they will be at Marulan, but I have been advised otherwise, maybe someone else could fill in these blanks.
