Conducted under the Dogs NSW Retrieving Trial Rules for Gundogs (Jan 2010 )

Entry Fees: $50 ($45 for subsequent dogs)

Please note that bank requires exactly this title or a $50 penalty applies)

Vetting: 7.30 am to 8.00 am with Gun Licence, (or appropriate paperwork), which is to be carried at all times.

Accommodation: Camping available on the Jugiong reserve at a reasonable fee.

NB. FORMAL MEALS, CATERING, ORDERING OF APPAREL:
As mentioned in a previous post, the pro-formas and details re catering, formal meals and the ordering of any apparel will be sent out to all on our mailing list in the near future so that these details can be attended to at the time of entry.

Conditions of Entry
The NSW State Championship will consist of 6 runs and is open to any registered gundog that has previously been placed 1st in a Restricted Stake or has been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in an All Age Stake.
Dogs that have not been awarded an RRD or RT Ch title must have their eligibility declared with their entry.
Exhibitors must be financial members of a state controlling body which is recognised by Dogs NSW.
A separate entry form is required for each dog.
A reserve judge may be appointed if necessary.
All dogs on site MUST BE VETTED. Bitches in oestrum must be removed from all the competing and exercise areas of the trial grounds.
The order of running will be determined by public draw.
Trophies and sashes will be awarded for 1st to 5th places. The full trophy list will be printed in the catalogue.

My source at the Championship tells me there are 12 dogs going through to tomorrow from the 34 starters. Including Prue Winkfield and her GSP Tornado (apologies if that is not her call name). Christine

Hi Chris,

I hear they only had 2 runs today. 18 Dogs bombed Joe Vella's run while 4 bombed Bill Hepburns. The following list of dogs still in was phoned thru to me.

Peter tells me that Noel Eltringham and Moose won, only half a point ahead of Jack Lynch and Fern. Russell Whitechurch took 3rd and 4th with Kelly and Sid. Bob Tawton and Kwik were 5th. All Labradors. Congratulations everyone.

Huge congratulations to Noel & Moose on winning the NSW State.
Only 1/2 point ahead of Fern and the Youngest Dog to finish.
