The Saturday trial of this weekend was the Lab Club’s “Winter Classic”. The winners are recorded on a permanent shield:
Novice: Donna Bruhl and Dascha
Restricted: Joe Vella and Matey
All Age: Joe Law and Chippie

On the same day, the “Joyce Figure’s Memorial Trophy” is awarded to the youngest dog to complete the Novice trial and the winner was:
Ronnie Cooper and Tom

Flo is also Secretary of the Gundog Society of NSW and, when wearing that hat for their trials two weeks ago, she forgot to advise me of the winner of the “Peter Halford Memorial Trophy”. This is awarded to the highest scoring dog over the course of their 3 weekends of trialling during the year (6 trials). The winner of this award with

2 X Restricted wins is
