One of the features of this trial where we endeavour to concentrate on and feature Novice and beginners to our sport, we have a Novice Aggregate Score for the highest scoring Novice dog over the 2 Novice trials. Our winner was:

Penny Angel and Eli who scored a total of 350 points. Well done!

As mentioned, we encourage as many new people to our sport as we can and to this end, a Beginners’ class was conducted by Joe Law and Helena Cornelius with much success if we can go by the great feedback. Close to 20 people and their dogs attended and seemed keen to continue – a couple even ordering throwers! Good sign!

On a personal note, we’d all like to thank Sharyn Sargison for making all the purchases for the breakfasts and the Saturday evening barbecue. No mean task! Thanks also to our 3-hat chef, Mark Sargison, for cooking up a storm. And thank you all for contributing so generously to our “pooled” table with luscious soups, salads and desserts. The general comment was: “You triallers sure know how to party!” Long may it happen!

A great weekend!

Thanks, Mark and Sharyn, for sharing your wonderful property.
