GSP RETRIEVING TRIAL RESULTS – JANUARY 2012

A great weekend of trialling was held at Sale, very hot but at least there was usually quite a bit of shade and a breeze that took the edge off. Heaps of water on this property so plenty of water runs and ample areas to cool the dogs off. Mozzies and flies were not too bad. Very big thanks to property owners Peter and Julie who went to so much trouble to move cattle and enable us to leave gates open and slash grass to clear driving paths and parking areas. All of the judges were a pleasure to deal with and all worked very hard in the heat to get through large fields without complaint - thank you. While on that subject congratulations to everyone for pitching in and coping with the conditions in good humour.

I won the aggregate with tex. Thanks for the lovely trophy you donated. Her win in restricted completed her nrd not rrd. It was a great weekend of trials congratulations to the GSP club and all the judges who dealt with high temps and big fields really well.

Can you please check 4th in AA on Sunday as I know Greg and Carbo didn't complete the final run on Sunday, I'm in Adelaide so can't check my records until I get home next week.

Also thank you to Noel who agreed to judge the last run of AA on Sunday to expediate the finishing of the trial as the conditions were so warm (35C).
