The trial was once again held just out of Ballarat on a property that has an abundance of land to set a variety of runs, the judges don’t have to look far to produce challenges for the handlers and dogs, particularly as the creek was down which allowed access across the creek. Weather in Ballarat on the day was a magnificent autumn day around 20C, sun and a little wind.

Thanks to Leanne Tormey assisted by Shirley Stow in running the catering tent and keeping everyone fed and watered (fed very well I might add). Also to Mark Davis and the Central Highlands Working Gundog Club for organising the property and use of their clubs equipment over the weekend. Thanks also to the handlers, spouses and spectators for attending and assisting on the day.
