A little confusing with the Trial Index suggesting Waikerie as the venue and the schedule suggesting the Meningie area. For the sake of those who may be planning to travel to the WA National via SA is there a possibility we could have more information about the venue including dog friendly accommodation and caravan parks in the area? Thanks.

Joe,
the trail is definitely being held near Meningie. Waikerie site is under water, I believe.
There is a nice caravan park in Meningie & it is dog friendly. It has cabins but dogs are not allowed in the accommodation.
I don't know of any other dog friendly accommodation in Meningie but others may do.

Sorry for any confusion with the venue of the SA State Championship Trial. It is definitely at Meningie. Dodds property which is around 10 - 20 kms. on the Narrung Road from Meningie. This road is opposite the Meningie Hotel. You will pass a dairy on the left and the property entrance is a bit further on on the right. It will be signposted. There is a dog friendly caravan park - Lake Albert Caravan Park at Meningie. Ph.08 8575 1411 for bookings, or you can find it on the web under Lake Albert Caravan Park, Meningie, SA. Happy trialling.
