2012 ACT State Retrieving Trial Championship

Directions to Bibbenluke from Canberra
1. From Canberra travel south for 113km to Cooma
2. From Cooma travel south for 75Km to Bibbenluke.
3. Immediately after crossing a new concrete bridge turn left off Highway into Cathcart Road.
4. Travel 50m to “T” intersection. Then turn left into Moore-Springs Road.
5. About 200 m from “T” intersection Moore –Springs Road will turn 90 degrees to the right.
6. Continue along Moor-Springs Road passing a School and Community Hall (on the left).
7. Moore-Springs Road will turn from bitumen to dirt and about 300m after the change; turn left into Broadview Road (also dirt). Sign may even say Exeter, the name of John and Anna Vincent’s Farm.
8. Broadview will curve to the right crossing a small stone bridge then past a house on the right and another on the left.
9. Stay on Broadview until it ends at the Vincent Farm. Total distance from Highway is approx 7km.

Directions to Bibbenluke from Lakes Entrance
1. Travel 133km from Lakes Entrance to Cann River.
2. From Cann River travel 86km north to Bombala.
3. From Bombala travel 12.8km north to Bibbenluke.
4. At Bibbenluke turn right off the Highway into Cathcart Road (just before the new concrete bridge).
5. Travel 50m to “T” intersection. Then turn left into Moore-Springs Road.
6. About 200 m from “T” intersection Moore –Springs Road will turn 90 degrees to the right.
7. Continue along Moor-Springs Road passing a School and Community Hall (on the left).

For Competitors camping at the Vincent Farm is avaialble from 12.00noon on Friday.

Please note that should there be a serious rain event between now and the Trial, camping will change from the Vincent Farm to the Bibbenluke Oval. The Oval is located on a road running parallel with and to the right of Moore-Springs Road and a short distance from the Community Hall ( which is located on the LHS of Moore-Springs Road). Showers and some power will the available. If there is a change please watch for signs.

Complimentary Tea and Coffee will be available at the Camping/Vetting Site both days, as will be ‘nibbles’ at Trophy Presentation. No other catering is proposed other than for Stewards.

Please note that there is an error in the directions from Canberra to Bibbenluke at Line No. 2

Line No 2 SHOULD READ from Cooma travel south for 75Km to Bibbenluke.
