Retrieving Club W.A. Results Nov & Rest 5/5/13

The Retrieving Club held its second Novice & Restricted stakes for the season 1 1/2 hours south of Perth at Crossman, one of the few places that have a good supply of water at this time of year. The gully dam at this property has been a savior of trials many times, and we are most appreciative of the owners for letting us use the farm for our trials. A smaller than usual entry for both stakes because people had other commitments, meant a fairly short day overall with people on their way home by mid afternoon. A cool start in the morning had everyone in jackets, but down to T shirts by lunchtime when the sunshine was quite warming. Again thanks to Ray P. for coming down just to work, and to Allan B for working the whole of Novice. Also to Ian W and Martyn D for working restricted and the handlers who helped in gun stewarding.
