Conducted under the Dogs NSW Retrieving Trial Rules for Gundogs (Jan 2011 )

Vetting: 7.30 am to 8.00 am


Conditions of Entry
The NSW State Championship will consist of 6 runs and is open to any registered gundog that has previously been placed 1st in a Restricted Stake or has been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in an All Age Stake. Dogs that have not been awarded an RRD or RT Ch title must have their eligibility declared with their entry. Exhibitors must be financial members of a state controlling body which is recognised by Dogs NSW.

A separate entry form is required for each dog.

A reserve judge may be appointed if necessary.

All dogs on site MUST BE VETTED. Bitches in oestrum must be removed from competition and exercise areas of the trial grounds.

The order of running will be determined by public draw to be held Friday 12th September at 7pm at the Harden Showground.

Trophies and sashes will be awarded for 1st to 5th places. The full trophy list will be printed in the catalogue.

On Friday 12th September there may be a target shoot at the Harden Clay Target Club, however this will only go ahead if we have the numbers. It is planned that the competition will start at 1pm. If you are interested please advise on your entry form and you will contacted either way.

On Saturday 13th September there will be a Chinese banquet at the Harden Bowling Club. If you are interested in attending please advise numbers when submitting your entry.

We are also investigating the option of having a professional photographer on site during the trial.

The draw will be held on Friday night at 7pm at the Murrumbarrah-Harden Showground and a supper will be supplied (hot chocolate, cakes, biscuits). Vetting will also be at this location at 7:30am. There will be a BBQ breakfast available from 7:00am on both days with either bacon or sausages and eggs.

Murrumburrah-Harden Showground Address: Woolrych Street Murrumbarrah. There is a large blue sign which says 'Showground'.

The results for the NSW State Retrieving Trial 2014 are as follows:

1st - Gareth Tawton with Hallie on 287pts
2nd - Jack Lynch with Tsu on 285pts
3rd - Karl Britton with Red on 267pts
4th - Wendy Michalk with Billie on 263pts
