ANRTC W.A. All Age trials 31/5/14 and 1/6/14 Results

We all had a lovely weekend with two Victorian judges, Kate and Noel Eltringham, visiting to judge at our weekend away at Mogumber. A new property was available to the trialers with Noel and Kate accommodated in "The Love Shack", a two storey rammed earth house provided on site by the property owners. Presentations were conducted in the open lounge area of the love shack each day, with snacks provided by the committee after the trial. Apart from the appalling smell of the fertilizer the farmers were spreading, the two days were most enjoyable with interesting runs in very different terrain. All the W.A. trialers wish to thank Noel and Kate for taking the time to come over to judge these trials, and hope that they enjoyed their short stay over here. Also we cannot do without our stewards, and on Saturday, Ian Webster and Mark Jackson did a sterling job in the field all day, with help from Kirsty Jackson and Noel Eltringham, and Catherine as gun steward. Sunday's trial had Martyn Dickson and Sonja Pfister make the long trip up just to steward, so big thanks to them. Also, Kirsty, Jean Henderson and Kate Eltringham helped during the day, with Catherine again being gun steward. We couldn't hold these trials without all our wonderful helpers. Congratulations to the committee on a well run weekend of trials.

1st Place: Mhadaidh Tricky Dicky AARD (golden Retriever dog) Jean Henderson 154 points (This win gave Dickon his R.T. Champion title. It has been a long haul with multiple second places along the way. Well done to both Dickon & Jean)

2nd Place: Terranaut Knockout Punch RRD (Labrador Retriever dog) Judy Pannett 149 points

3rd Place: R.T. Ch Boomermagic Irish Spirit (Labrador Retriever bitch) Maggie Hankinson 139 points
