Vetting: 0700-7.30am – All stakes, commence trialling 08.00 or earlier

Camping: Camping will be available on site from Friday midday.

Catering: No catering at this trial.

Shooters Licence: At all Retrieving and Field Trials conducted in Victoria a competitor must produce a current shooters licence at vetting and be carried at all times.

Please Note: - Condition of entry is that competitors agree to assist with the Trial when requested.

Trial Venues - Properties used for retrieving and field trials in Victoria are private Properties and MUST NOT be revisited after the trial. Entry for the trial is Subject to this condition.

A NOTE TO COMPETITORS- We are sorry that you still cannot enter our competition on Easydog at this stage. We are trying to get the problem fixed and hope that it will only be a couple more days. In the meantime, please accept the apologies of Gippsland Retrieving Club for the inconvenience.

For your information, the trial will be conducted on a site that has not previously been used for trialling. It is situated 5 minutes out of the City of Sale (please see map).
Camping is available in a flat grassy site next to an old disused farm house. Again, please refer to the map. It is an excellent and easily accessible camping site and is close to the runs.

Anybody wanting to eat out could do worse than going to the Sale Greyhound Club nearby in Sale. They have a wonderful, modern facility with good food and Happy Hours on Friday and Saturday nights and, of course, poker machines for those interested. They were also a sponsor of the Nationals a few years ago.

Gippsland Retrieving Club continues to try and promote retriever trialling. We are always on the lookout for new sites, good judges and good camping sites. We believe that we have achieved these goals at Sale and we look forward to seeing you there. Again we apologise for the Easydog entry issues but hope it does not cause you too much trouble.
