RETRIEVING TRIAL FOR GUNDOGS Sponsored by Blackhawk.

VENUE: Peter Seppelt Wines, Grand Cru Estate, Lot 274 Laubes Road, Springton SA

Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th May 2018

Vetting 8.00 am all Stakes both days. Trial Start Time: Not before 8.30 am

TROPHIES & SASHES: Sashes and place cards for 1st , 2nd and 3rd in each Stake.
Black Hawk Dog Food for 1st and 2nd place. Other prizes where donated.
Cecil Adkins Encouragement award Saturday Novice stake.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The only persons permitted to handle exhibits at any exhibition conducted by an affiliate of the S.A.C.A. are -
(1.) Members of the Association; or (2.) Members of the controlling bodies in the state or territory in which the person is domiciled.
All dogs must be pure bred gundogs and registered with the S.A.C.A. or recognised body.
All trials will be conducted in accordance with the A.N.K.C. Rules for the conduct of Retrieving Trials for Gundogs.
A copy of the rules will be available at the fixture.
CLUB CONDITIONS:
Gun Licence/Shooters Licence details are required on ALL ENTRY FORMS.
When not running a dog, competitors will be required to act as Gun or Game Stewards in events entered.
No competitors or spectators are permitted to return to the trial grounds after the trial.
The Committee reserves the right to remove any competitor or spectator by law or other means, from the Trial area or campsite who is clearly disruptive to the Members and/or participants of the Trial.
Any protests shall be immediately lodged (in writing) with the Trial Manager or Trial Secretary, accompanied by a $20 deposit which will be refunded unless Members of the Retrieving & Field Trial Committee deem the protest frivolous in which case the deposit shall be forfeited.

It will be at the committee’s discretion as to whether a judge may run a dog in another stake on the same day that they judge.

If, at close of entry date there are insufficient entries to hold a stake, competitors will be notified. At that time they may request a refund of entry fee. However, if such a request is not received before the catalogue is done no refund will be given.
If there are insufficient entries to hold a stake a Sweepstake will be run and no prizes issued

Results of RAFTCOSA RTFG 19th & 20th May 2018
Cool and mostly fine weather for the trials at the picturesque Grand Cru property of Peter and Roz Seppelt at Springton.

Thank you to the property owners, judges and all competitors who helped during the week-end to make these trials a success. Sponsorship by Black Hawk for 1st and 2nd place qualifying in each stake and an added bonus the donation by Peter Seppelt on the Sunday of a bottle of wine for each judge and each completing competitor.

The club was able to organise a great discount on meals at the Bridge Hotel for the entire weekend
