The Gundog Club of WA Novice and Restricted 29 May 2022

The Gundog Club of WA held Novice stake and Restricted stakes on Sunday 29 May 2022 on a beautiful private property near Gidgegannup, which has an abundance of water and a good mixture of cover at this time of year. Our thanks to Kerry Webster for obtaining permission to use the property. The day started cool, calm and sunny but a strong chilly breeze picked up mid-morning making some throws a bit challenging for the stewards. Our judge made great use of this wonderful property, expanding into some new areas to test the dogs. A healthy number of Novice and Restricted dogs entered the trial but unfortunately several were withdraw before the day.

Novice: 11 started, 8 finished
1st : Prinmorepark Fudge – Michael Symes – 180 pts
2nd: Ellishea Rips Stormgirl (AI) – Heather Ellis – 170 pts
3rd: Cinderset Black Onyx – George Joyce – 168 pts

Run 2 – Prinmorepark Fudge & Boomermagic Guns In The Sky – 60 pts
Run 3 - Ellishea Rips Stormgirl – 62 pts

Restricted: 7 started, 4 finished
1st : Bodhran Miss Daisy – Ian Molyneux – 166 pts
2nd : Prinmorepark Fudge – Michael Symes – 146 pts
3rd : Ellishea Rips Stormgirl (AI) – Heather Ellis – 1142 pts

This win qualifies Ian & Ollie for their RRD title (subject to Dogs West approval)
