Pointing Breeds Field Trial 10 & 11 May

Postby Bruno Pollini » Mon 19 May 2008 11:11 am

On 10 & 11 May the Pointing Breeds Field Trial Club NSW Inc. held its first Pointer & Setter field trials for the year. Conditions were hot and dry, with little or no wind, which made scenting conditions difficult and tested the stamina and fitness of the dogs; cover was mainly Hairy Panic with other summer grasses; paddocks were large, ideal for Pointer & Setter work, with good numbers of quail.
