Field Trial for Spaniels and Retrievers

N.B. Shooters licence number must be included on entry form, and produced for inspection at vetting (See note 4 below).
Closing Date Monday 20th August 2018 (Late entries will be returned)
Entry Fees $17.00 Members/$20.00 Non-Members (Inclusive of VCA charges & levies)
Trial Location Please contact the trial manager in the week leading up to the trial for the location and directions or include an e-mail address on your entry so information can be sent out to competitors.
Awards Trophy & sash for winner, sash for runner up.
Qualifications A NOVICE STAKE is open to all registered dogs of named breed or breeds, who have not won any other Stake, other than one Novice, or been placed second in a Championship Stake.
To be held under the Rules and Regulations of the Victorian Canine Association and the ANKC Rules for Field Trials for Spaniels and Retrievers. A copy may be inspected at the office of the Secretary of the fixture on the day of the trial or downloaded from the ANKC website.
The Club reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running of the trial and also the right to accept or refuse entries.
Conditions of Entry:
1. TRIAL SITES ARE PRIVATE PROPERTY AND MUST NOT BE REVISITED AT ANY TIME AFTER THE TRIAL.
2. All persons attending the Trials must consider themselves absolutely under the orders of the Officials and must follow and remain close in the gallery.
3. Residents of Victoria must be financial members of the Dogs Victoria to exhibit, handle, judge or officiate.
4. Current Shooters Licence must be produced at vetting to be eligible to compete.
5. Dogs with a docked or shortened tail must produce a Docked Tail Identification Card at vetting to be eligible to compete.
6. Shooting of game on the trial sites during any part of the day on which the trial is held is not permitted except with the approval of the judge.
7. Bitches in oestrum are not permitted on the trial site.
8. Consumption of alcohol is not permitted on the trial site.
